We utilize minimum classroom instruction covering:
Initial treatment and stabilization of war-wounded casualties
Functioning in remote and urban environments
Training of both medical and non-medical providers
Inclusion of anatomy and physiology lectures for putting treatments in context
Planning, team work, communication, self and buddy aid
Hands-on training focuses on:
Small-group, scenario based training to reinforce what was taught in the classroom
Specialized training to prepare both men and women for the inevitable wounds they may encounter on themselves, their comrades, or local citizens; including men, women and children.
The majority of training days, ADS utilizes this type of reinforcement training
In the field - that's where your people will put what they learn to use - so that's where we do most of our instruction.
